1. Who we are

LotterGen (lottergen.com) is a free, browser-based lottery number generator. We do not require registration, sell products, or process payments.

2. What data we collect

LotterGen collects minimal data. We distinguish between two types:

Data collected automatically (with your consent):

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Browser type, operating system and screen resolution
• Country and language (derived from browser settings)
• Referring website (how you found us)

This data is collected via Google Analytics 4 only if you accept analytics cookies. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage.

Data stored locally on your device:

• Filter presets you save — stored in your browser's localStorage, never sent to any server
• Your cookie consent preference — stored in localStorage

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or any personally identifiable information.

3. Cookies

LotterGen uses cookies only for analytics purposes, and only with your explicit consent. You can accept, reject or customise your preferences at any time via the cookie banner.

• Essential cookies: Not used — the site functions fully without them.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): Loaded only after consent. Used to understand traffic and improve the product.

To withdraw consent, clear your browser's localStorage for lottergen.com and reload the page. The consent banner will reappear.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics 4 — analytics (only with consent). Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Google Fonts — typography. Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log the request.

We do not use advertising networks, social media trackers or any other third-party scripts.

5. Data retention

Analytics data retained in Google Analytics is set to the default 14-month retention period. Local browser data (presets, consent preference) persists until you clear your browser storage.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Since we collect no personally identifiable information directly, most requests can be fulfilled by simply clearing your browser storage and rejecting analytics cookies.

7. Children's privacy

LotterGen is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Lottery participation is subject to age restrictions in each country.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of LotterGen after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
